Chai Kijiko means "tea spoon" in Swahili.
These small, beautiful coffee spoons are hand-crafted out of olive wood and some of the handles are made using recycled bone. The wood is treated with natural vegetable oils by the artisans. These items are handmade in Kibera slums, Kenya.
Cleaning and care instructions: Hand rinse with soapy water if required, and wipe dry. Do not put in dishwasher. Apply a food safe mineral oil or butter as needed to refresh and rehydrate.
Spoons are approx 6.5" lengthwise
Our world changing fashion is all individually handcrafted, and therefore small imperfections, differences in shape, size and colour can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product - reminding us an actual person made this item just for you.
